A little about me
I’m a single mum to my amazing son and two cavoodle puppies, based in Lilydale — the gateway to the Yarra Valley in Melbourne, Victoria.
I photographed my first wedding at the age of 20… on film (yes, film!). That experience sparked what has become a long-standing career in photography. I later spent many years as a Production Manager at a high-end professional lab, a pivotal role that allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the full photographic process — from capture through to editing, refinement, design and final production.
This background has given me a strong edge as both a photographer and editor, with a clear understanding of how each stage impacts the final result. I’m detail-driven, consistent and highly respectful of other photographers’ workflows, styles and client relationships.
I offer primary and secondary shooting, as well as Lightroom editing services, and have worked with many photographers who would be happy to provide references or have a chat about working with me.
I’m a Canon girl through and through, currently shooting with two Canon R6 bodies. My kit includes 16mm, 35mm, 24–70mm and my favourite 70–200mm lens, along with various flash units and syncs. I also still work casually in a photographic lab — keeping my production knowledge sharp and up to date.
Ideally, I’m looking to work with a small number of photographers who value consistency, trust and collaboration, and who need someone they can rely on regularly. And let’s be honest — it’s always more enjoyable shooting alongside someone you genuinely get along with.
Editing Services
Photography is an art form and a true expression of the photographer behind the lens. Editing plays a vital role in bringing that vision to life. Every photographer has a unique style, and as your dedicated editor, my goal is to understand, refine and consistently deliver your look — not impose my own.
How it works
To begin, I like to gain a clear understanding of the services you’re looking for and the style you want maintained.
With no obligation, you’re welcome to send a small gallery of approximately 50 images from a wedding or session, including a mix of lighting conditions. These should be sent as Smart Previews via Lightroom and include both your before-and-after edits. This allows me to fully understand your editing style and preferences.
From there, I’ll request a second set of 50 unedited images along with any presets you typically apply. I’ll edit these images and return them via Smart Preview (Dropbox), ready for your feedback. Once we’ve refined the look together and you’re happy with consistency, we can move forward with a paid full gallery.
Additional services
You can choose to cull your own images, or I can provide culling services if preferred. I’m also happy to edit sneak peeks or highlight images (I simply ask that advanced filters aren’t applied, so these can act as accurate style guides).
Using these reference images, I’ll edit the remainder of your gallery with a typical turnaround of 2 weeks, or sooner if required.
What matters most
Consistency, communication and feedback are key. Editing is still an art form, so some creative interpretation is always part of the process. My aim is to get to a point where your galleries require little to no tweaking, and your style is delivered seamlessly every time.
