A little about me: I am a single mum of an adorable 9 year old boy, and two little cavoodle puppies! I live in Lilydale, the gateway to the Yarra Valley in Melbourne, Vic. I photographed my first wedding at the age of 20 on film… yes film can you believe!!! And that was the start of my business and career. I went on to have an amazing career as the production manager at a high end pro lab. This pivotal role enabled me to learn and grow so much of my craft from all sides of production, from capture, edit, refine, design and production. I feel this has always given me the edge as a Photographer and Editor to understanding the needs of each step in the ever evolving photography realm. If given the opportunity i know i can prove my value and worth to you and your business.
I offer Primary and secondary shooting as well as Lightroom editing services. I have worked with many photographers that would be more than happy to chat if you require or can offer references. Im a Canon girl, born and bred!! Shoot with tow Canon R6. Lenses: 16mm, 35mm, 24-70 and my favourite 70-200mm as well as various flash units and syncs. And to top it off, I still have a casual job in a photographic lab!
I hope this is adequate information at least to start a conversation and perhaps lead to an ongoing partnership. Ideally I would like to work for a handful of photographers whom can trust and rely on me on a regular basis to ensure consistency. And lets face it... it's always more fun shooting with a friend!
Editing Services:
Photography is an art form, and a true expression of one's self. A vital role and step in the process is editing. Every photographer has a unique look and feel to their images. As your exclusive editor I like to work with you and refine to capture that feel and look.
So how does it work????... To start with I like to get a look and feel for what services you are looking for. With no obligation you can send me a small gallery of 50 images from one wedding or session with a mix of lighting conditions edited and sent via smart preview gallery in Lightroom. I can then view your before and after images to get a look for you style. From there I ask for another unedited 50 image gallery and any presents you normally apply. I will then edit these and send back via smart gallery on Dropbox. With any and all feedback we can then move to a paid full gallery.
I can also provide culling services or you can cull yourself. Edit your sneak peeks for highlight images (I ask that you don’t apply advance filters for these). And using these files as guides I can edit the remainder of your gallery within a 2-4 week turn around or shorter if needed. The most important thing for me is consistency, communication and feedback. I aim for you to be happy with the consistency of your gallery and only need tweaking as it is an art form so artistic impression will always occur. After working consistently with you I hope to nail your look so no tweaking required!!!
